Hey guys! Just curious as to your thoughts on volume for lower body! I know Jordan Peters suggests 6 sets quads and 6 sets hams split between 3 exercises each, also seen hypertrophy coach Joe Bennett post workouts with only 8 overall sets for the workout, what are your opinions/experiences?

Entirely person dependent. I've trained legs with JP and he used to coach me. I made significant gains with him especially on legs, but i routinely injured myself.
A low volume approach means you need to get your head in that 1 main working set and go all out. If your personality allows this (AJ is a prime example) then great. But if your personality is like mine in that you are stubborn and don't know when to back off, this approach might not work for you.
I think the best advice I could give is commit to a routine for at least 12 weeks and measure the results. Read your own feedback and adjust accordingly. You need to look at all factors when analyzing your training; are you getting adequate rest? Are you sufficiently feeding yourself to recover? Is your diet structured in a suitable manner to support low volume training? Is this approach causing you pain (not DOMS but pain)?
People often write off a style of training when it wasn't the training that was the issue, but instead another factor that training performance relies on.
